I have a Dell Latitude 7490, which should support TPM 2.0, but Windows, the BIOS, and PC Health Check all report that no TPM is available. I've already updated the BIOS, but I still can't find any TPM-related option. What should I check or do to enable it?

Install Dell Command | Update and check for a TPM firmware update. Some systems originally shipped with TPM 1.2 and need Dell’s firmware package to move to TPM 2.0. After updating, reboot and check again with Windows + R, then type `tpm.msc`.
If TPM still doesn’t appear in the BIOS after the latest BIOS and firmware updates, check whether the BIOS has security settings hidden or restricted by an administrator password. If there is genuinely no TPM option and `tpm.msc` says no compatible module is found, the TPM may be disabled at the firmware level or there could be a hardware or motherboard issue.
The Latitude 7490 should have TPM 2.0. Enter the BIOS setup and look under the Security section for TPM 2.0 Security or a similarly named setting, then make sure it’s enabled. BIOS updates can also add or restore the relevant option.

I updated the BIOS and tried following the instructions, but TPM still isn’t listed as an option anywhere in the BIOS.
