How Can I Escalate an iCloud Data-Loss Issue After Apple Support Made It Worse?

After following an action requested by Apple Support, apparently because of a bug, I lost data from iCloud. I've already spoken with several supervisors. One scheduled a callback but wasn't available, and after I explained the situation again to three other representatives, the last one placed me on hold and disconnected the call. I'm trying to find out how to get Apple to properly investigate and resolve the issue. Support has told me that my iPhone and iPad data should still be included in my iCloud backups, so I'm not sure how serious the loss is yet. What is the best way to escalate this case and get meaningful help?

It’s not completely clear what specific action you want Apple to take or which data is missing. When contacting support again, clearly explain the exact loss, provide the existing case number, and ask for the issue to be formally escalated to a senior advisor or engineering team. Also verify the dates of your iCloud backups before attempting any recovery steps.
