How can I rename Konsole in Kubuntu without breaking its launcher?

I changed the displayed name of the Konsole terminal using KDE's menu editor because I didn't like the original spelling. Afterward, trying to launch it from the Plasma application menu gives an error saying the desktop cannot find the program. I tried changing the name back, but the error remains. What should I change so the menu entry works again, and is there a way to customize the displayed name safely?

Renaming the menu label itself should not stop the program from launching. The likely problem is that the executable command was changed along with the label. Restore the command to `konsole`; changing only the Name field is the safe way to customize how it appears in the menu.

The visible name and the launch command are separate fields. You can rename the application however you like, but the command should remain `konsole`. Open the menu editor, set the entry’s command back to `konsole`, and leave your preferred text in the Name field. If it still fails, check that the command does not contain an incorrect path or extra arguments, then save the menu entry and restart or refresh the application launcher.

I tried changing the displayed name back, but I may not have restored the Command field. I’ll check that separately and set it to `konsole`.
