I keep switching between CachyOS and Debian because I like different things about each, but I really want to settle on one dependable system. I've also tried Bazzite, Mint, Windows, BlendOS, and Garuda, but each had issues ranging from breakage to unwanted software or a desktop environment I don't enjoy. Some distributions also don't work properly on my hardware. I use this system for home-theater gaming, and I may also need handheld compatibility, so I'm looking for something stable that works across my devices. The constant reinstalling is using a lot of internet data, and I need to stop hopping between distributions. What would you recommend?

Before choosing another distro, decide which device matters most and list the exact hardware and errors you’re seeing. There probably isn’t one distribution that is perfect for every handheld, desktop, and home-theater setup. Pick the one that works reliably on your main machine, install it once, and avoid changing systems whenever a minor issue appears.
Give Fedora a serious try, especially Fedora KDE Plasma. It’s a good middle ground: current enough for gaming and hardware support, but more structured and predictable than constantly jumping between specialized distributions.

Since the main machine is a home-theater gaming PC, I’d test the chosen system there first and only worry about handheld support separately if the hardware is actually different.
