I accidentally left my Galaxy S26 on the bathroom floor while taking a shower, and now it warns me about moisture or water in the charging port. This happened a few hours ago, but the phone still seems to be working normally. Should I take it to a repair shop now, or can I safely let the port dry on its own?

You probably don’t need a repair shop immediately if the phone is otherwise working normally. Unplug it, wipe the outside, hold the charging port facing downward, and gently shake the phone to help remove droplets. Then leave it somewhere dry with good airflow until the warning disappears. Don’t plug in a cable while moisture is still being detected.
I’d wait it out rather than forcing a charge. Keep the phone in a dry, ventilated spot with the port positioned so moisture can evaporate, and try charging only after the warning clears. If the alert remains for a long time or the phone starts behaving strangely, then consider having the port inspected.
