I'm considering buying a used EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 Ti, but I'm unsure whether my current EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze power supply can handle it safely. My system has a Ryzen 7 5700X, 16GB of RAM, three 7200 RPM hard drives, one SATA SSD, one NVMe drive, and three 120mm case fans. Would this PSU be sufficient, or should I upgrade it before installing the graphics card?

If replacing the PSU isn’t within your budget, consider a more efficient card instead. For 1440p, an RX 9070 XT would be a better match for this system, while an RX 9060 XT 16GB is a solid option for 1080p. Both should put significantly less stress on the power supply.
The 3080 Ti can pull around 450W during spikes, which leaves less room than it seems on a 750W supply once the CPU, drives, and other components are included. Some people have had instability or even circuit breakers trip with 750W units. I’d upgrade to a reputable 850W or 1000W PSU rather than gamble on it.
I wouldn’t risk using that particular 750W unit with a 3080 Ti. These cards can produce large power spikes, and the PSU’s protections and overall design matter just as much as its rated wattage. A high-quality 850W model would be the minimum I’d consider, while a good 1000W unit gives you more headroom.
