Could someone help me choose parts for a gaming PC costing around €150 that can reach roughly 80–100 FPS at 1080p? I'm also open to buying a used office PC and adding parts if that makes more sense. Is this performance level realistic on that budget, or how much would I need to spend?

€150 is an extremely tight budget for 80–100 FPS at 1080p. You might find an older used system that handles very lightweight games well, but modern games would be a stretch, especially once you include a graphics card.
At €150, you may be able to find a basic older computer for very light games, but 80–100 FPS at 1080p across more demanding titles is not realistic. The exact games matter a lot, so listing them would make it easier to estimate the required hardware.
A used office PC could work as a starting point, but you’d likely need to add a compatible graphics card and possibly upgrade the power supply. For the kind of performance you’re describing, expect the total cost to be closer to €400–€500 on the used market.

That’s quite a bit more than I hoped. Is €500 roughly the minimum for meeting those performance targets?
