Since this is mainly for gaming and the purchase lines up with your birthday, waiting makes sense for the timing alone. If you’re willing to wait several more months, newer processors announced around January could also affect prebuilt pricing, though there’s no guarantee they’ll be a better value immediately.
If you’re not in a rush, waiting until October is reasonable. Many holiday promotions start early, and the best prices may appear before the actual Black Friday weekend. Compare the full specifications carefully, since some prebuilt deals cut costs with weaker power supplies, limited cooling, or less upgradeable parts.
No one can predict the market that far ahead. Component costs, especially for graphics cards and memory, may limit how much prebuilt systems are discounted. Black Friday deals could be worthwhile, but they might only bring prices back down to today’s levels rather than offering a huge bargain.
