I have between £200 and £400 to spend on a new graphics card, and I've seen the 16GB RX 9060 XT selling for around £400. It's the only part of my current PC that really needs upgrading. Is this a good choice for the money, or are there better GPUs I should consider in this price range?

For a brand-new card, the RX 9060 XT 16GB is one of the strongest options near £400. It’s currently among the least expensive 16GB GPUs and should handle 1440p gaming reasonably well, so it makes sense if you want to stay close to your budget.
It’s decent, but the value depends heavily on the price. If you can stretch to an RX 9070 16GB, it may be worth doing: it costs roughly 30% more but can deliver around 50% more gaming performance. That makes it a better long-term option, especially for 1440p, whereas the 9060 XT may leave you wanting another upgrade sooner.
Look at the used market as well. A lightly used RX 9060 XT can be a good deal if you find one well below the usual price, but buying it for close to £400 is much less appealing. With GPUs, there usually isn’t a bad card—just a bad price.
That makes sense. I may increase the budget and go for the RX 9070 instead, or possibly the 9070 XT if the price difference is manageable.
