I currently use a basic switch with two laptops so I can share one keyboard and mouse between them. I'd like to connect a third laptop and switch between all three with a button. I'm looking for something simple and preferably passive, without a separate power adapter. I don't need any advanced features, but I'm unsure whether a three-port KVM or USB switch will work with modern laptops.
