I'm putting together my first gaming PC and would appreciate some feedback on the parts. The build includes a Ryzen 5 7600X, Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi DDR5 motherboard, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory, a 2TB Kingston NV3 SSD, an MSI MAG PANO M110A case, a Corsair RM750e 750W power supply, a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE cooler, and an XFX Swift Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card. I mainly play games such as Batman, the Spider-Man series, eFootball, and Borderlands. The current total in Australia is around 2,600–2,700 AUD, though I'd ideally like to bring it below 2,500 AUD. Is this build overkill, and are there any parts worth changing to save money?

The parts list is generally well balanced, but the final value depends heavily on Australian pricing. If you need to get under 2,500 AUD, compare prices on the SSD, case, and motherboard first, since those are usually easier to swap for cheaper alternatives without noticeably affecting gaming performance.
This looks like a solid 1440p gaming build for those games, and it doesn’t seem overkill. The processor, graphics card, 32GB of RAM, and 750W power supply should give you plenty of performance and headroom.
