I'm building my first gaming PC in Germany and have a budget of roughly €1,400. I'm mainly targeting 1440p gaming and would like to know whether this parts list offers good value. The build uses a Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB of DDR4 memory, a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and an 850W power supply. The total comes to about €1,446. Are there any parts I should replace to improve gaming performance or make the system more upgradeable?

The build should handle 1440p well, but it isn’t especially price-efficient. For this budget, moving to the AM5 platform with a Ryzen 5 7500F, DDR5-6000 memory, and a less expensive case and cooler would give you a better upgrade path. You could keep the RX 9060 XT 16GB and stay close to budget.
If you want the best gaming performance near this price, a Ryzen 5 7500X3D is worth considering, though it may push the total slightly above €1,400. If keeping strictly to the budget matters more, the Ryzen 5 7500F or 7600X is a sensible replacement. Use a basic air cooler rather than a 360mm liquid cooler, and redirect that money toward the GPU.
You may get noticeably higher 1440p frame rates by spending less on the CPU and putting the savings toward a stronger graphics card. A used RX 9070 could be a good option if you find one from a reliable seller, since it is substantially faster at 1440p. Just check the card’s condition and warranty before buying.
AM5 is the better choice if you plan to upgrade the processor later. The Ryzen 7 5800X uses the older AM4 platform, while a Ryzen 5 7500F or 7600X would provide plenty of gaming performance and leave room for future CPU upgrades. Also check the memory pricing carefully, because DDR5 kits should not consume an unusually large portion of the budget.
