I'm putting together my first custom PC after only using prebuilt systems, and I'd appreciate some advice before ordering the parts. I'm using a store's PC builder and want to know whether this would be a solid gaming system that should remain capable for several years, or whether any components should be changed for better value, compatibility, or performance.
The current build includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Gigabyte X870 Gaming WiFi6 motherboard, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, an ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card, a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, a Montech Air 903 Max case, an MSI MAG A850GL 850W Gold modular power supply, and a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE air cooler. The processor, motherboard, and memory are included in a bundle. Is this a good combination, and are there any parts where I could spend less without sacrificing meaningful performance?

The overall build is well balanced for gaming. Keeping the processor bundle and the RX 9070 XT makes sense, but some of the individual component choices may not offer the best value. You could replace the cooler and SSD with comparable alternatives, and there may be better or less expensive options for the case and power supply. It’s worth comparing the complete parts list elsewhere before checking out.
