I'm using an MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard with an AMD Ryzen processor, but Windows isn't detecting the onboard Wi-Fi at all. I had no internet connection, so I updated the Wi-Fi driver from a USB stick. What else should I check to get wireless working?

Make sure the external Wi-Fi antennas are firmly attached to the two connectors on the rear I/O panel. The onboard adapter may barely work—or appear not to work at all—without them.
Since you installed the driver from a USB stick, confirm that you installed the Wi-Fi-specific driver rather than only the chipset or LAN driver. It may also help to enable the wireless device in BIOS and install the latest motherboard drivers using another computer if necessary.
I updated the driver from a USB drive because the computer had no Wi-Fi, but I’ll double-check that it was specifically the wireless driver.
Also check Device Manager to see whether the wireless adapter appears there or has a warning icon. If it’s missing completely, the driver may not be the correct one for your exact motherboard revision.
