I built a new gaming PC with an MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard. Since I don't currently have an Ethernet cable, I copied the motherboard drivers to a USB drive using another computer and installed them manually. I've tried reinstalling the Qualcomm WiFi driver many times and also updated the BIOS, but WiFi still doesn't work. The antenna is connected, and in Device Manager the WiFi adapter appears with a yellow warning icon. I'm running Windows 10. What should I check next?

Double-check that the driver package actually supports Windows 10. Some newer motherboard WiFi adapters and their drivers may target Windows 11, so Windows 10 could show the hardware but fail to initialize it. The error code in Device Manager will help confirm whether this is a compatibility or driver issue.
The yellow warning icon usually means Windows sees the adapter but the driver didn’t install correctly. Open the adapter’s Properties in Device Manager and check the Device status for an error code. Then uninstall the device, select the option to remove its driver if available, reboot, and install the exact Qualcomm WiFi driver for your board and Windows version. Installing the motherboard chipset drivers first may also help.
Since the antenna is connected and the adapter is listed, this probably isn’t a signal problem. Try downloading the LAN, chipset, Bluetooth, and WiFi packages from the motherboard’s official support page, install the chipset package first, then reboot before installing WiFi. You can also use Device Manager’s ‘Update driver’ option and point it directly to the extracted driver folder.
