I built this PC roughly 2–3 weeks ago, and it consistently crashes with a blue screen after around 5 hours and 32 minutes of use. I initially replaced the RAM, but that did not help. I also cleaned up and reinstalled potentially outdated or corrupted drivers, including the network and graphics drivers. For the graphics driver, I booted into Safe Mode and used DDU before reinstalling it. Event Viewer has shown different bug-check information on different crashes. The latest crashes reported SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x7E), with win32kfull.sys and Wdf01000.sys listed. I'm considering updating the BIOS, but I'm running out of ideas. The system uses an X870 Wi-Fi 6 motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. I also collected the recent minidump files for analysis.

The reported SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error and references to win32kfull.sys or Wdf01000.sys do not necessarily mean those Windows files are defective; they can be involved when another driver or unstable hardware causes the crash. Updating the motherboard BIOS and chipset drivers is reasonable, but use the exact files for the board model and keep the BIOS update process uninterrupted. The dump analysis should help determine whether this is a driver, firmware, memory, or hardware stability problem.
The minidump files are the most useful next step because Event Viewer often only shows a symptom rather than the actual cause. Upload several recent dumps together, not just one, so the crashes can be compared. Also make sure Windows is configured to create small memory dumps if the folder is empty. Since the system is new, checking CPU and GPU temperatures while monitoring for the crash would also be worthwhile.
The latest three dumps show the same general failure pattern, so I’m going to provide those for comparison and check temperatures while testing after the BIOS and chipset updates.
