No Display Signal on a New Ryzen 5 4500 Build

I'm building a PC with an ASUS Prime B550-A WiFi II motherboard, Ryzen 5 4500, Wraith Stealth cooler, ASUS RTX 2060 6GB, two different 4GB DDR4 sticks (one 2133MHz and one 2400MHz), a CIT 600W FX Pro power supply, and a WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD. The system powers on, the motherboard lights up, and both the CPU and graphics card fans spin, but my 1080p TV shows no signal. I've tried both HDMI ports on the RTX 2060 and also the motherboard's HDMI output. There is no operating system or driver installed yet. The motherboard shows a steady orange light. Could this be a RAM problem, a faulty graphics card, or something else?

Give the first boot a few minutes after changing the RAM, since memory training can take longer than expected, but five minutes should normally be enough. Check what the orange motherboard light actually indicates in the manual; it may be a memory or boot-status indicator. If possible, test with another known-good graphics card or power supply. The CIT unit is also a weak point, especially with second-hand parts, so I wouldn’t rely on it until the basic tests pass.

The Ryzen 5 4500 does not have integrated graphics, so the motherboard HDMI output will never produce an image with that CPU. The monitor needs to be connected to the RTX 2060. Make sure the graphics card is fully seated and that its PCIe power connector is attached. Fans spinning does not prove the card is working.

That makes sense. I was testing the motherboard HDMI as well, so I’ll focus on the 2060 and check its power connection and seating.

Try booting with only one memory stick installed in the slot recommended by the manual, usually B2. Test each stick separately rather than using the mismatched pair. Different speeds and unknown-quality RAM can prevent the first boot, and clearing the CMOS after changing the memory is worth trying too.

The manual lists B2 for one stick and A2 plus B2 for two sticks. I’ll test each module individually in B2.
