I'm trying to decide between two GPU and CPU combinations: the RTX 5070 Ti paired with the Ryzen 7 9700X, or the RX 9070 XT coupled with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Both setups are about the same price and look really appealing. My primary gaming focus is on sim racing games like Le Mans Ultimate and Assetto Corsa (both flat screen and VR), along with a few titles like Assassin's Creed and Rocket League. Given my gaming habits, which option would you recommend?

If you're not too worried about features like DLSS, ray tracing, or Reflex tech, then the RTX 5070 Ti is a solid choice. But if you find the RX 9070 XT at a lower price, that's definitely worth considering too! Also, if you can snag a 4070 Ti Super for less than both, that's an option.
I'd personally go with the RX 9070 XT since that's what I chose for my setup! It's been great for sim racing.
If you're planning on getting into something like iRacing with VR, go for the RTX 5070 Ti. It's got better performance for VR applications.
Definitely lean towards the RX 9070 XT and 7800X3D combo. It should serve you well!
Is the VR performance really that much better? I remember reading about AMD struggles with VR, but I also saw they improved quite a bit with features like ray tracing and upscaling.
