I recently built a PC and I've been on the hunt for a GPU. I'm leaning towards getting the 9060 XT with 8GB since it's within my budget, but I've come across a lot of mixed reviews about 8GB cards. I don't play a lot of AAA games and mostly focus on competitive gaming. Is it better to spend a bit more for a 16GB model? What are your thoughts? Just for reference, I have a Ryzen 5 7600X in my setup.

Seriously, I wouldn’t recommend going for the 8GB option. It’s just not worth it in the long run.
If you can, definitely consider springing for the 16GB version. It will provide much better performance and longevity as games get more demanding over time.
The phrase 'buy once, cry once' rings true here. The 9060 XT 16GB will be more than enough for your needs and it's a solid investment for the future.
Go with what fits your budget. While 16GB is ideal, if you're not planning on playing anything too demanding, the 8GB card could work just fine. Also, check out the used market; you might find a great deal on a 3080 or 6800 XT for around $300. Good luck!
How reliable is the marketplace though? I just spotted a 7700XT for $325 and I'm hesitant.
