What graphics card should I buy with a £500 budget?

I have about £500 to spend on a new graphics card. I was considering a 16GB RTX 5060 Ti, but I'm not sure whether it offers the best value. I mainly want to play games such as Elden Ring, Rainbow Six Siege, and other story-driven titles. I could stretch my budget by roughly £100 if the upgrade is worthwhile, so I'm also considering the Radeon RX 9070.

The RX 9060 XT 16GB is probably the best fit if you want to stay near £500. If you can stretch the budget by about £100, the RX 9070 would be a much stronger long-term choice, especially for demanding story games and higher settings.

Thanks, I think I’ll try to stretch the budget for the RX 9070 and see what deals I can find.

The standard RTX 5060 only has 8GB of VRAM, so make sure you’re comparing it with the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. However, the 16GB Ti models are currently above your budget in the UK. For around £500, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is a more realistic option and should handle those games well.
