What should I do after installing Bazzite on a dual-boot setup?

Dolphin can feel unfamiliar at first, but the basic workflow is similar to other file managers: the left sidebar gives quick access to locations, tabs work like browser tabs, and right-clicking provides file and folder actions. Spend a little time exploring its settings and shortcuts; it becomes much easier after a few days.

You can mostly use it like any other desktop operating system once it’s installed. Check that your graphics, audio, networking, and display settings work correctly, then install the applications you actually need rather than changing a lot of things immediately. Your AMD hardware should generally be well supported.

Start by running the available system updates and rebooting afterward. Bazzite is based on Fedora’s atomic model, so the core system is mostly immutable and you generally shouldn’t treat it like a traditional Linux installation where you manually replace lots of system packages. For most apps, use the recommended graphical app store or Flatpak.
