I'm 15 and have about $100 to spend. I'd like to play games, preferably on a PC, but I need help figuring out whether it's possible to build something usable for that price. If a gaming PC isn't realistic, I'm open to suggestions for an older console, cloud gaming, or another affordable option.

If you already have a phone, tablet, or basic computer, cloud gaming could be the most practical route. A subscription may let you play without buying a full PC, though your internet connection needs to be reliable and the long-term cost can add up.
A new gaming PC isn’t realistic at this budget. Your best chance would be finding an older, complete desktop locally for around $100, ideally one that already includes a dedicated graphics card. Building from individual parts usually costs more because you also need storage, memory, a power supply, and a case.
You may have better luck with an older console, such as a used Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or possibly a Series S if you find an unusually good deal. Prices vary a lot, so check the condition and make sure the console includes the necessary cables and controller.
You could also save for a while longer instead of rushing into the cheapest parts. Earning extra money through small jobs and aiming for roughly $150–$250 would give you far more options for a used office PC or older gaming system. At exactly $100, getting a computer that simply works may be the main challenge.

A Series S can sometimes be found cheaply, but $100 would be an unusually low price. Older consoles are much more realistic for this budget.
