In the Contacts app, I appear twice: one entry has "Me" next to my name, while another is labeled "My Card." Both contain exactly the same information. Is this actually two separate contact cards, or is there a reason both appear? It isn't causing any problems—I'm just curious why it's set up this way.

They’re not two separate copies. “My Card” is a shortcut shown at the top of Contacts that points to whichever contact card is marked as “Me.” The same card can therefore appear in the regular alphabetical list with the “Me” label and again through the “My Card” shortcut.
That explains it. I assumed “My Card” would appear at the bottom with the rest of the contacts, but it’s really just a shortcut placed at the top.
