My laptop's Wi‑Fi toggle turns pale blue and displays "Not available" instead of enabling wireless connectivity. Other devices connect to the same Wi‑Fi normally, so the router doesn't appear to be the problem. This laptop worked normally until a few days ago, and I don't remember changing any settings. I also don't think a recent Windows update caused it, since the latest update shown in Update History was installed more than a month ago.

There have been reports of some Windows updates affecting wireless connectivity, so checking Update History and installing any available driver or system updates may be worthwhile. However, if Wi‑Fi itself cannot be enabled, checking the adapter in Device Manager is more directly relevant than troubleshooting a single network connection.
Open Device Manager, expand Network adapters, and check whether the wireless adapter is listed or has a warning icon. If it appears normally, right-click it and choose Disable device, then enable it again. If that doesn’t work, uninstall the adapter, restart the laptop, and install the latest Wi‑Fi driver from the laptop manufacturer’s support site.

Thanks! Disabling and re-enabling the network adapter fixed it.
