My PC was working normally earlier today, but after restarting it, both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons disappeared. I checked Device Manager and tried to disable and re-enable the wireless adapter, but Windows requires administrator permissions for those actions. I also tried opening Command Prompt through Win + R and using commands to disable the adapter, but that didn't help. Is there anything I can safely try myself, or will I need an administrator to check the drivers or hardware?

Since both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disappeared at the same time, the shared wireless adapter or its drivers may not be working. Fixing or reinstalling those drivers, changing device settings, or running some repair commands usually requires administrator access. You’ll likely need the PC owner or an administrator to check Device Manager, Windows services, and the manufacturer’s drivers.
A normal restart can sometimes leave the wireless hardware in a bad state. Try a full shutdown instead: turn the PC off completely, unplug the power cable or adapter, hold the power button for about 30 seconds, then reconnect it and start the PC. This can reset the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware. If you’ve already tried that several times, the issue may be with the driver or wireless card.
My PC was fine earlier this morning, and the problem appeared after restarting because the Bluetooth icon had disappeared. I’ve already tried a full power drain a few times, but I’ll give it another attempt.

I was hoping to fix it myself before asking for administrator help, but I understand that my limited permissions may prevent me from doing much more.
