I'm planning to upgrade my PC, which currently has a B450 Gaming X motherboard, a Ryzen 5 1600, an RX 570, a 600W power supply, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I'm considering a Ryzen 5 5500X3D and an RX 7600. Is this upgrade worth it, and will the motherboard, VRMs, power supply, and CPU/GPU pairing cause any compatibility or bottleneck issues?

The motherboard should handle the upgrade, but update the BIOS before installing the new processor. Afterward, enable Resizable BAR and Smart Access Memory if the BIOS supports them. The performance jump from a Ryzen 5 1600 and RX 570 should be very noticeable.
The upgrade itself makes sense, but the power supply needs closer inspection than its wattage rating. A 600W unit is generally enough for a Ryzen 5 5500X3D and RX 7600, but the exact brand and model matter. The GameMax 600W 80 Plus Bronze model should be checked against reliable PSU quality lists; if it is a low-quality unit, replace it with a reputable model before installing the new graphics card. Also update the motherboard BIOS first.
The RX 7600 should pair reasonably well with that CPU for typical 1080p gaming, and the B450 board’s VRMs should be fine at stock settings with adequate airflow. It may also be worth comparing the Intel Arc B580, since it can offer better performance for a similar price depending on local availability and the games you play.
