Will an ASRock B450M-HDV physically support a Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti?

I recently bought a Gigabyte Windforce RTX 5070 Ti GV-N507TGAMING OC-16GD and am waiting for it to arrive. My current RTX 3070 fits in my ASRock B450M-HDV, but I'm concerned that the new card may be much thicker and could cover the motherboard's lower SATA and front-panel USB headers. I've heard that large graphics cards can be awkward in some micro-ATX layouts. Will the motherboard support the card, and should I prepare right-angle SATA cables or a 90-degree USB 3.0 header adapter? I'd prefer to keep the card installed horizontally rather than use a vertical mount.

Looking at the board layout, a large graphics card may partially cover the SATA or front USB 3.0 connectors. That doesn’t mean it won’t work, but you may need cables with right-angle connectors, depending on exactly where the card’s cooler extends. Check the card’s published thickness and compare it with the distance from the PCIe slot to the headers before installing it.

I considered using a vertical mount to avoid the clearance issue, but I’d rather keep the card installed normally if the horizontal setup can work.

The motherboard should support the 5070 Ti electrically; the PCIe generation is backward-compatible, so the main concern is physical clearance rather than compatibility. The unusual layout on this board puts the main x16 slot below the x1 slot. A two-slot card should generally be fine, but a three-slot-or-thicker model could cover some of the lower headers. I’d wait until the card arrives before buying adapters or changing anything.
