Will an RX 6800 XT fit in my case with a Wi‑Fi adapter installed?

I'm considering upgrading from my Gainward Ghost RTX 3060 12GB to an RX 6800 XT. My system has a B550M Pro motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600, 650W power supply, and a Phanteks Eclipse G360A case. I also have a PCIe Wi‑Fi adapter installed below the graphics card, and I'm concerned that the larger 6800 XT might block it or interfere with airflow. Will the card physically fit, and is there anything else I should check before buying?

I have used a similarly large RX 6800 XT, and it should fit that general setup as long as the model is not unusually thick. Expect some GPU sag, so a support bracket is a good idea. Also check whether the card uses two or three power plugs and make sure your power supply has separate PCIe cables available.

The graphics card will likely cover or sit very close to the Wi‑Fi adapter. Even if both physically fit, the adapter could lose airflow and the GPU may block access to it. A small USB Wi‑Fi adapter would avoid the problem and give the large card more room.

It will probably fit in the case, but the exact answer depends on the specific 6800 XT model because cooler thickness and length vary. Check the card’s listed dimensions against the G360A’s GPU clearance, especially if front fans or a radiator are installed. A 650W supply may also be enough, but it should be a good-quality unit with the required PCIe power connectors.
