I'm running Ubuntu and want to replace it with Windows 11. I installed Ventoy on a USB drive, copied the official Windows 11 ISO to it, and selected the ISO from the Ventoy menu. Instead of starting the installer, the computer stays on a black screen. I also tried both the normal boot option and Wimboot; Wimboot reaches a "Load driver to show hardware" screen. The target computer is a Lenovo Legion 5 OLED APH10. What's the best way to create the installer and get Windows set up?

Ventoy can be picky with certain firmware and Windows images. Since this is an official Windows 11 ISO, try creating the USB with WoeUSB-ng instead of booting the ISO through Ventoy. You can also recreate the drive with Microsoft’s Installation Media Creation Tool from another Windows computer. Make sure the laptop is booting in UEFI mode and, if necessary, temporarily disable Secure Boot while testing.
The Wimboot driver prompt usually means that boot method isn’t handling the Windows image correctly, not necessarily that the laptop is missing a driver. Recreate the USB using a dedicated Windows-media tool such as WoeUSB-ng, then boot the USB in UEFI mode and select the normal Windows installer entry.
If you have access to a Windows machine, Microsoft’s media creation tool is generally the simplest option: use it to make a fresh installer USB rather than copying the ISO to Ventoy. Back up anything important first, because installing Windows may erase the Linux partitions.

I’m using the official Windows 11 ISO on a Lenovo Legion 5 OLED APH10, and both Ventoy boot modes give me trouble.
