I've been running Bazzite since December and have generally had a great gaming experience, but I'm trying to install Windows on a separate hard drive so I can play Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Odyssey. I created the installation media with Fedora Media Writer, but the Windows installer reports that no device drivers were found when I reach the disk-selection stage. I also placed my motherboard's SATA drivers on another hard drive, but the installer gives the same result when I browse to them. Could this be related to my existing Linux installation, or is there something wrong with the Windows installation media or storage setup?

This is most likely a Windows installer or storage-controller issue rather than a Bazzite problem. If the installer cannot access the drive containing the drivers, it cannot load them from there. Put the required storage drivers on a separate USB drive, or on the Windows installation USB if it is writable, and browse to them from the installer. Also check whether the target drive is visible in the firmware settings and whether the motherboard’s SATA or storage-controller mode is set appropriately.
That does seem to be what’s happening. I was able to locate the driver briefly, but then the drives disappeared from the installer. I also tried another USB drive and still received the same error, so I’m not sure whether the media was created correctly or whether the storage controller is the real issue.
