Worried I Got Malware from ImgBurn – What Should I Do?

I downloaded ImgBurn from their official website, thinking it would be safe, but I found Avast unexpectedly installed on my PC along with some suspicious software: Almoristics application, Saferweb, and Eternal Cast. I'm not sure if my Windows Defender was disabled before, but I've enabled it now. I tried to uninstall these suspicious programs through the control panel. I really hope I'm not logged into any accounts right now. Can anyone advise me on additional steps? Do I need to uninstall anything else or run specific scans? How serious is my situation?

First off, where did you download ImgBurn? There have been reports that some mirrors offer versions with malware. You might want to double-check and see if others have had issues too. Your suspicion about the Almoristics app is valid!

I got it straight from imgburn.com, but after looking around, I saw plenty of warnings about malware from some mirrors. That really made me uneasy.
