I just picked up a Nintendo 64 and a GameCube but I've realized that my modern TV won't connect to them directly. Can anyone suggest some affordable HDMI adapters that work well? I'm not looking to buy more consoles or modify my N64, just trying to get these classics up and running without breaking the bank.

If you're not too picky about video quality, a composite to HDMI adapter could do the trick. Just grab one from your favorite online retailer. They generally work pretty well, but keep in mind, poor input quality means poor output! Check this out for an option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L931SB5.

I do care about quality, but I'm more worried about using cheap adapters that might damage my consoles. Is that a real concern?
