I'm building my first PC and I want to make sure that all the parts I've selected are compatible with each other. Here's what I've picked out:
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 8GB Windforce OC ($310)
- Intel Core i5 13400F ($106)
- iD Cooling SE-224-XTS ARGB ($22)
- MSi Pro B760-P ($111)
- Netac Shadow II DDR4 (2x16GB) ($50)
- ZALMAN Z10 Black Case ($77)
- 1TB ADATA Legend 900 ($69)
- 650W Chieftec (BDF650C) ($80)
The total cost comes to about $870. I've checked compatibility in theory, but as a first-time builder, I'd love to hear from more experienced folks. I'm aiming for decent gaming, streaming, and light video editing with a budget around $800-$850.

Are you in the US? I actually built something similar and found a better overall combo for just a little more cash. If you're interested, I can share my list with you!
Have you tried using PCPartPicker? It’s a great tool that can help verify that all the parts are compatible. Just plug your build in, and it’ll let you know if anything doesn’t fit!
I did check there, and everything is marked green, but I just want to make sure before I finalize my purchase.
For gaming and streaming, you might want to consider that the GPU and CPU could be a bit mismatched. Your current setup isn’t terrible, but if you’re looking for a solid performance, you might want to look into an AM5 build with DDR5 for around the same budget—especially since you’re aiming for more intense tasks like video editing.
Thanks for the heads up! I forgot to mention I'm targeting gaming, streaming, and light video editing. I really don’t know much about PC parts, and I’ve been stressing over this for hours—it seemed like a decent build for the budget.
I’m not from the US, and just the GPU alone would run me around $428.
