I'm a bit concerned about the idle temperatures on my new Ryzen 7 9850X3D. They range from 50 to 65°C, and I'm comparing them to my previous Ryzen 7 5700X, which sat at around 35°C with the same cooling setup. I have an ASUS ROG X870E-E motherboard, a Thermalright Frozen Infinity 360 AIO cooler, and I use a Dynamic Evo case with 10 fans (6 for intake and 4 for exhaust). Everything's connected properly, the AIO pump is running at 100%, and I've set the Precision Boost Overdrive to -20. The only variable is that I'm now on Windows 11 instead of Windows 10. Could these temperatures be a problem, or is this normal?

Idle temps can be misleading. What's more important is the performance under load. Have you tested the CPU in demanding tasks?
Double-check that your pump's running at a steady rate, ideally around 80% duty cycle without fluctuations. Also, tuning your fan curves may help. That said, 50°C is pretty normal idle for this CPU, while 65°C might just be an incidental spike, which can happen.
Did you remember to update your BIOS after swapping from the Ryzen 5700X? The Ryzen 7 5700X uses the AM4 socket, while this CPU is AM5. It’s essential to ensure everything's compatible!
I did update the BIOS for the motherboard. Everything's on the latest version.

Yeah, in games like Black Myth Wukong at 4K, I hit 65-80°C under load.
