I'm looking to build a gaming PC that can handle 4K gaming without using an NVIDIA GPU. My budget is between $2000 and $2750, and I'm hoping to get the most bang for my buck. Here are the specs I have in mind so far:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
**CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM
**Motherboard:** Asus TUF GAMING B650E-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5
**Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36
**Storage:** Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 2TB NVME SSD & Crucial P310 1TB NVME SSD
**GPU:** Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
**Case:** Fractal Design Pop XL Air ATX Full Tower
**PSU:** Corsair RM850 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular
I'd love to hear any suggestions or improvements you might have!

I'd definitely go for the 7900 XTX or the 9070 XT, whichever one is cheaper when you buy. The 9070 XT is a solid choice for 4K gaming, but you might have to dial down some settings in more demanding games.
You've got great specs, but don't forget about the 6900 XT if you see it going for a good price. It handles 4K quite well and can be a great budget alternative!
If you're going for new parts, I suggest considering a B850 motherboard instead of sticking with the B650. The B650 might work with the Ryzen 9 series after a BIOS update, but the B850 will support them out of the box and has some other nice improvements too.
Your setup looks pretty good! However, I'd recommend the 7800 X3D instead of the 9800 X3D, since the latter could be overkill for the 9070 XT. You could save some cash without losing much performance.
The 9070 XT is probably your best bet for 4K gaming right now. But, keep in mind, some games may still need lower settings. Also, be cautious with your motherboard choice, as some have had issues with the 9800 X3D – it's safer to go for MSI or Gigabyte.
