Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade the CPU cooling for my Ryzen 5 5600 since I'm currently using the stock cooler. I have an ASUS B550M A WiFi II motherboard, but it doesn't have a dedicated AIO pump header. I'm a bit lost on how to properly connect an AIO cooler and which headers to use. I just built my PC about a month ago with the help of a friend and I'm eager to improve my CPU cooling setup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Honestly, for the Ryzen 5 5600, which has a TDP of 65W, you don't really need an AIO. A simple $20 tower cooler could keep it running cool and quiet. The Peerless Assassin is a solid choice for that. Going AIO might complicate things more than necessary and cost you extra cash, which could be better spent on other upgrades.
An AIO might be like putting fancy rims on a basic car—just overkill for your needs. If you're certain about the AIO, you can use the CPU header for the pump and any fan header for the cooler's fans, but honestly, it seems like a lot of hassle for your setup.
I appreciate your insights! AIOs are being recommended a lot, but I’m starting to think an air cooler might be the way to go instead. I was already considering the Peerless Assassin; do you think that’s the better option?
