I'm thinking about buying a mini PC to install Linux so I can use it with my TV. I'm not sure which distro would work best for this purpose. Thanks for any suggestions!

If you plan to use Kodi, it can run on pretty much any distro. Just pick one you're comfortable with!

Debian is a solid choice! It's stable and secure, which is perfect for a setup that isn’t going to need much maintenance.

For a hassle-free experience with media playback, I'd recommend either LibreElec or OSMC. Both are built specifically for running Kodi. LibreElec is super popular and user-friendly, while OSMC is Debian-based and great if you want to run other tasks too!

Are you looking to use Kodi, or would you prefer something like a gaming distro? That could change your options a bit!

A TV is just a screen; it depends on what you want to do with it! That can help narrow down the distro options.

I actually run a similar setup as my main PC. I stick to a distro I know well, so that might be the way to go for you too!
