Best Way to Manage Contacts on Fedora with Microsoft 365?

I've just made the switch to Fedora 42 with GNOME from Windows and Outlook. My contacts are currently in Office 365, and I heavily rely on the Notes/Description field to keep track of information. Unfortunately, I discovered that Outlook for Web doesn't search through the notes, only the name and company fields. I'm having trouble getting GNOME Contacts to connect with my Microsoft 365 account; I've signed in through the Online Accounts settings, but I'm not sure if it even searches the notes field. There seems to be a lack of documentation regarding this. Any tips on managing contacts and notes effectively?

Have you looked into Thunderbird? I'm not too familiar with how well it integrates with Microsoft 365, but it does have options for managing notes in contacts.

I thought Thunderbird was just for email! I'll give it a try. Thanks!

You might want to give Evolution a shot! It’s known for having good compatibility with Microsoft 365. There’s a guide here that could help you connect it: https://linuxkamarada.com/en/2017/09/06/use-evolution-to-connect-to-office-365-on-linux/

I'll check it out. Thanks!

EDIT - I found that Evolution only searches by the 'Full Name' field, which isn’t much better than Outlook Web. I appreciate the suggestion, though!
