I'm looking to play competitive games at 144fps in 1080p or 1440p, with DLSS support, and I want to run AAA titles at 30-60 fps at 1080p on ultra settings or 1440p with DLSS or frame generation. Unfortunately, I can't upgrade my CPU right now; it's the R3 4100. Is achieving these goals with my current setup realistic?

Honestly, you're not going to see the performance you want with this combination. The short answer is no, especially at 1440p. You might hit 100fps at 1080p in a few games, but it's not going to be consistent across the board.

But if I ignore 1440p and use DLSS and frame generation, I should still be able to get at least 60fps on 1080p with max settings in most games, right? For competitive games, hitting 144fps with performance settings and DLSS seems achievable, doesn't it?
