Hey everyone! I have a modem but no router, and I'm wondering if I can still connect my PC to WiFi. Also, I'm facing an issue where my WiFi network isn't showing up on my PC's available networks. Any thoughts on what might be going on?

Could you share the model of your modem? Also, it’s crucial to know whether you've set up any WiFi settings on it before. And does your PC even have WiFi capabilities? You might have to check that too!

Most modems usually come with built-in router functionalities and WiFi. It'd really help to know the model of your modem and whether you're using a laptop or desktop. If you’ve connected your desktop to WiFi before, there might be a setting issue!

It's an Altice UBC1326. I'm on a desktop that has connected to WiFi before. My neighbors' WiFi networks show up, but mine won't register. My phone, my roommate's phone, PS5, laptop, and TV all connect fine; it's just my PC that won't recognize it.
