I was signed out of my Apple Account on my iPhone, and signing back in requires a verification code sent to an old trusted phone number that I can no longer access. I still know the account email and password, and I also have the account's Recovery Key plus access to another email address that was previously added. Is there any way to regain access without the old phone number? Can the Recovery Key or secondary email address bypass the verification code requirement?

Unfortunately, if you cannot access the trusted phone number, trusted device, or another approved verification method, the practical options are limited. Try Apple’s official support and recovery steps, but be prepared for the possibility that you’ll need to regain the old number or create a new account.
The usual route is Apple’s account-recovery process, but it may take several days or even up to a couple of weeks. There generally isn’t a way to speed up the verification once it starts.
A Recovery Key may not be enough by itself. With Recovery Key protection enabled, Apple can require both the key and a verification code sent to a trusted phone number. The additional email address also usually cannot replace that trusted number, so recovering the number through the carrier or contacting Apple Support may be necessary.
