Can I Replace Windows with Linux for AutoCAD, Office, and Gaming?

I've been thinking about switching from Windows 11 to Linux Mint for a while, especially after getting frustrated with resource usage while playing The Sims 2, an older game that shouldn't be demanding. I'd like to use my PC more efficiently because I have a solid setup (9070XT, Ryzen 5 9600X, and 32GB of RAM), but I need to run programs like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office, as well as play games through Steam, Epic Games, and emulators for consoles like Nintendo Switch. I have some experience with Linux from school, but I need to know if a switch is practical for me or if I should stick to Windows for now. I'd like to avoid dual-booting if possible. Any advice would be appreciated!

Switching entirely might not be the best idea unless you're ready to change your workflow. If the programs you rely on don't have equivalent Linux versions, it could be challenging. Consider starting with a dual boot or a virtual machine to test the waters before fully committing.
