Hey everyone! I'm using the Claude desktop version and I really prefer using the 3.5 model, but I find it a hassle to click back to it every time I start a new chat. Is there any way to set 3.5 as my default model instead of 3.7? I feel like 3.7 generates too much unnecessary content, even with custom prompts, while 3.5 gets the job done just right. Any tips?

I totally get you! I usually stick with 3.7 for its features, but 3.5 is definitely better for coding. It seems more straightforward and less chatty. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a way to set it as default since they probably want to push the newer model for revenue reasons.
Yeah, that's true! It's kind of frustrating when the tools don’t fit what you need, huh?
