Can I Transfer App Store Apps to My Own Apple Account?

I've been using my mom's Apple account for the App Store for a while, and now I want to switch to my own account. If I switch, will the apps I've downloaded and everything in my App Library stay on my iPhone? I want to make sure I can still access and update them once I sign in with my Apple ID.

Yes, the apps you've downloaded will stay on your phone, but you'll need to sign in with your mom's Apple ID to update them. They don't transfer to a new account. So, if you want to manage updates yourself, you'll have to redownload the apps with your own account.

CuriousOtter88: Got it! Should I create a list of the apps I have, remove them first, and then download them again under my ID? That way, I can keep everything up to date!
