Hey everyone! I have a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop and when I tried to upgrade the RAM a few months back, I found out that the RAM is actually soldered onto the motherboard. This means there are no additional slots for more RAM. I'm curious if there's any way to boost the existing RAM, maybe through a USB or partition? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, soldered RAM isn't upgradeable by consumers. You would need to completely swap out the main board for one that has more RAM, but that's kind of a hassle. What model of Dell Inspiron 15 do you have? That might give us some options to consider! Also, Zswap could help by using a swap partition or file to optimize performance a bit.

Yeah, but you need to check your specific model. Some may have different configurations.
