I have three iPhone 11s: one is broken, one is currently in use, and the last one is a new model I bought for someone else but plans changed, so I'm turning it into a backup phone. I'm wondering if I can take the SIM card from the broken phone and put it into the new phone that currently doesn't have a SIM card. Will this work even though the broken phone is severely damaged? Thanks for your help!

As long as both phones are from the same carrier or if the new phone is unlocked, you can just swap the SIMs without any issues.
It's usually not a problem swapping SIMs. Just make sure both devices are from the same carrier, or that the new one is unlocked, and you should be all set!
You should be able to use the SIM card from your broken phone in the new one as long as the SIM itself isn’t damaged. Just keep in mind that you'll need to contact your carrier to switch the SIM’s info to the new phone's IMEI number.
Yeah, swapping SIM cards is pretty straightforward. Just be sure the broken phone's SIM card isn’t damaged, and you should be fine. Just remember, if the new phone is locked or on a different carrier, that could complicate things a bit.
