I'm building a new PC soon and I recently upgraded my gaming laptop with a 2TB SSD that has Windows 11, all my games, and files on it. Could I just plug that SSD into my new PC? Are there any major concerns or potential problems I should be aware of, especially considering that the CPU and GPU will be different? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I’d recommend transferring your important files to a USB SSD drive while the old SSD is still in the laptop. Then do a clean install of Windows on your new system. It may take more effort since you’ll need to reinstall your games and other programs, but it’ll save you from dealing with driver conflicts.
It might work just fine, but there could be some glitches because of the different drivers from your old setup. The safest bet is to reinstall Windows to avoid issues down the line.
I moved from an old HP with Intel to a new Asus with AMD, and everything worked like a charm for me! It can vary, though.
If you're switching motherboards, which you are, it's generally best to do a fresh install of Windows from scratch to prevent anything funky from happening.
