Hey folks! I recently got a Samsung tablet and I'm curious if I can set it up as a third monitor for my desk, mainly to use Spotify or maybe even to display some GIFs. Ideally, I want the tablet to turn off when I switch off my PC. Has anyone tried doing this or knows what software could help me achieve it?

Thanks for the tips! I’ll check out those apps. It's nice to know it can be used in some way!

Just a heads up, Windows 10 has a tablet mode, but it won't connect to your tablet as a monitor. It just changes the interface a bit. Just keep that in mind while setting things up!

If your main goal is to play Spotify, why not connect your tablet via Bluetooth? You might need a Bluetooth adapter for your PC if it's not built-in, but that's a simple solution!

You can actually use your Android tablet as a second monitor with some software! Try installing apps like Spacedesk, Duet Display, or Splashtop Wired XDisplay to connect it to your Windows PC using Wi-Fi or USB. It works pretty well!

Using a tablet as a regular monitor is generally not feasible since the necessary hardware isn’t present in both devices. But you can definitely use it for specific apps like Spotify without it acting like a monitor!
