Can My Old PC Handle a 9060XT 16GB Upgrade?

I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU to a 9060XT 16GB and wanted to know if my current setup can support it. Right now, I've got a GTX 1660 Super, an Intel i5 9400F, 32GB of 3200MHz RAM, an ASUS Prime B365-Plus motherboard, and a somewhat dubious no-name 450W PSU that's been chugging along for five years. I know I might face some bottlenecking, but I'm planning to switch to AM5 later this year when I have more funds. The GTX 1660 isn't cutting it for newer games like Expedition 33 and Doom. Will upgrading to the 9060XT be a good move or a waste of time?

You'll definitely see better performance with the 9060XT compared to your 1660 Super. It's a solid upgrade!

Thanks! I was just concerned about potential bottlenecks from my CPU and the power supply being only 450W.

It'll work without any issues. If you're running into GPU limitations, you'll experience a nice boost. Just keep an eye on your CPU usage; it might hold you back depending on the game.

Got it! I noticed the new Doom needs ray tracing and my CPU was around 70% while the GPU was maxed out at 100%. So, I think I'm GPU-bound.
