I'm using O365 apps on my personal iPad with both a work account and a personal account. While each account works fine on its own, I'd like to access my personal OneDrive via the O365 apps that are linked to my work account. However, when I try to add my personal OneDrive as a save location, the app closes the dialog box after I enter my email, and nothing happens. Is Microsoft blocking this access deliberately? Three different support representatives confirmed that they won't allow a free OneDrive account to work with O365 apps from a paid account. Could they be doing this just to push users towards paid accounts?

The O365 apps should work just fine for local files on your device. The main hitch is that it struggles with cloud files accessed through different accounts. So, if you're trying to use your work-related apps but save to your personal account, that's where the issue comes from.
So just to clarify, if I install apps under my work email but want to save and edit documents linked to my personal account, that’s where I hit a roadblock, right?
